Brow trends have transformed over the years, but I'm glad more full and natural brows seems to be here to stay. According to most runways, the bushier the better (hello, Cara Delevinge). Grooming your brows properly can make a big impact, just ask Anastasia Soare, founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills and credited with pioneering the entire beauty brow industry. But...what if you don't have fuller brows? Or, what if your brows are so full that they need taming! Or, what if you simply need help shaping your brows to best fit your face. Or if you're me, you need help with not only shaping and taming, but tinting too! Who knew so much effort went in to such a small surface of hair.
Until recently, I attempted to tackle all of the above from home, or at random times where I could sneak away from my kids long enough to get my eyebrows waxed (and usually at the same place I was getting my nails done, don't tell). Bottom line, my eyebrows were kind of a mess. I stumbled upon Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta Cosmetics a few months back, and although it's not the most exciting discovery, I feel the need to share how amazing it is (for those of us that can't make the pilgrimage to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Salon). They start with their three step brow mapping process, and offer waxing and tinting too. I've been really happy with the results, and it makes me feel so much more polished (you can get any of these services at Benefit Cosmetics stores too). If you're still skeptical, you can click here for before and after brow transformations. I've also linked a few tools that I love, to help with the maintenance and shaping in between appointments.
